This is just an update regarding the availability of Nylon Bolts.
These can be very difficult to locate...the 4/40 size is handled only by Great Hobbies usually....sometimes John at MH brings some in.
Home Depot, Bayers Lake have these sizes...6/32, 8/32, 10/32, and 10/24, as well as 1/4". They come in various lengths from 1/2" to 3"
These are particulary good for landing gear (in the smaller sizes) as they break off with a rough landing without tearing out the plywood gear plate.
Tip..when they do break off..heat the end of a straight screwdriver..push it into the nylon stub, making a slot; when cool simply back out the stub..!

Re: NYLON Bolts at Home Depot..
Glad to hear that. I have been scrounging for 8/32 stuff which I use on many of my models, and am down to my last bolt.
Thanks
Thanks
