HEFA 2014 RAFFLE
Today I'm announcing the details of the HEFA 2014 fund raiser RAFFLE.
The prize is a complete RC plane from E-flite known as the SPLENDOR. You only have to add the battery, and it calls for a 6S -3300 Lipo. (or two 3S ,2200mah packs or larger in series)
This plane was designed by Quique Somenzini as a follow up to his Visionaire and was likely his last design before leaving the employ of Horizon Hobby.
It is a quite a large plane by E-flite standards and is more in the "pattern class", however it does perform some 3D antics.
Now, back to the raffle.. 100 tickets will be available at a cost of $10.00 each. The tickets go on sale at the HEFA Annual Meeting on November 6th, 2014 and the drawing will take place at 3PM January 24th, 2015. After the AGM, tickets will be available to any resident of NS.
I have asked two of our members to act as Trustees for this Raffle. Their job will be to keep a written record of all ticket holders and to ensure that all sold ticket stubs are in the "ballet box".
I am attaching two pictures that are copies of promo material that has been produced for this raffle.
In a future post I will list several links to websites and videos that have been posted regarding the SPLENDOR model.
cheers,
Bill F.
2014 HEFA President

Re: HEFA 2014 RAFFLE
It was suggested at last evenings introduction of the Raffle that we give the HEFA members some additional time for ticket purchases before going to others in the province.
So if your interested in being a part of this event, just drop me an email at billfoster707@gmail.com requesting a ticket be held for you and it will be set aside.

Re: HEFA 2014 RAFFLE
Today I posted info on our Raffle to Kijiji, under the "hobbies and crafts" classification. It will be interesting to see if it draws any sales.
