We have several helis that fly at Shannon. Yours looks like it may be have to be checked. HEFA (MAAC club 711) has a association rule requiring a check for "aircraft" with a weight over 3.5 lbs and a max of 6lbs.

Hi Jerry,
I'm not sure we have to have the same weight restrictions on Helicopters. I will check on that.
I am one of the heli enthusiasts that Andrew mentioned and new heli pilots are very welcome. Well actually everyone who flys electric is welcome!

Typically anytime after sunrise if the weather is fit, although the "crowd" usually doesn't show up til around 9am.
