Looking for Heli flying instruction

Unread post by helibear » Thu Sep 16, 2010 3:41 pm

Hello,

My name is Brad and I am back in the Hobby of RC Helis and looking for someone to assist me in flying my Blade SR. Not as easy as they advertise stepping from the MSR, but If there is a specific place and time rc Helis meet, I would appreciate any assistance to get this thing in the air without crashing it again!!! If there is a membership or cost involved, please let me know and would be happy to join.

B.Regards
Brad

There are a handfull of Heli fliers in the club. We normally fly weekend morning and MAAC and club membership is needed. Rick flies the heli a lot and is usually out most weekends.

Hi Brad, I am far from an expert heli pilot but I will be glad to give a helping hand if I can. As well, if Rhoady, Jack or Jacky are around I am sure they would be glad to assist you as well. I am at Shannon Park most weekend mornings all year round weather permitting. Tomorrow and Sunday are looking pretty decent so drop by if you have a chance.

Cheers,

Rick

Appreciate your help!

Brad,
Ive seen the Blade SR at Geoff's, looks very aerobatic (quick)
we have a good core of Heli pilots at Shannon, but alas no buddy box for the variety of Transmitters.
Try and practice on the flight sims if you have 1.
see you at Shannon at the weekend. 8-)

I am glad Jack is back in the picture as he is the one who helped me get going!

I have tested other people's heli's for them no problem but for instruction I could only stand by your side and make suggestions. I can't imagine trying to use a buddy box considering how many times I have just barely saved the SuperCub (airplane trainer) from destruction. But I could set up a buddy box system if someone else wanted to use it. Jack?

Cheers,

Rick

KrasherJack,

Sounds great and what time do you typically fly at Shannon Park on Sunday?
