I saw about this. It’s good news but I think AMA and other CBOs need the right to have this altitude waiver in place for their standard club activities.

Realistically, clubs should just be able to get a constant NOTAM or airspace carve-out up to 1700ft or whatever. General aviation gets to basically do whatever they want, and the sky is big. We deserve and should demand a space for ourselves! After all, model aviation predates manned aviation.

John,

Absolutely. Is any thing happening at our club pertaining to all of or any of our concerns. I appreciate having MAAC respond to my querries. However it is as if we are done get your license ad be happy??

Just my opinion of course. The Transport Minister has a RPAS task force and they responded to my email. I then sent them a letter in response. It was what I already, and, I am sure everyone has read the requirements to fly issued by MAAC.

Just wondering as I find bowing to the king is the not acceptable. My arthritis says no. ;-)
