So we all know (or should know) that by referring to all our RC model planes as "drones" we now face the fact that our cute little foamies will fall under this 250gram Transport Canada limit.
This similar regulation in the US by the FAA would literally kill so much of what Flite-Test has accomplished over the past many years, that they and others are fighting back by asking modellers to get onboard with letters to Congress to get the weight limit raised to 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) for this class of "drones".
