Our fellow flier and overall good guy, Steve Wiper suffered from a stroke on Tuesday. He has been in the hospital since.
Please keep Steve in your thoughts & prayers, anything for a speedy recovery.

Kevin - thanks for letting us know. "Overall good guy" is an understatement.

Hopefully the stroke was minor and that recovery will be quick and without lasting issues. Definitely in our thoughts.

Yes, very sad news. I know, like myself, everyone's thoughts are with him at this time.

I've purchased a card for Steve, on behalf of SRCF and HEFA, which Kevin Baker or myself will be bringing to indoor at Shearwater tomorrow in order to have as many folks as possible to sign it.

Life is a precious thing and everyone needs to treasure it.
Little did I know, a week ago this past Sunday as I marvelled at Steve's fantastic aerobatic flying ability, that it would be for the last time.
His flying skills and his perpetual good humour and friendliness will be sorely missed.
A good man gone too soon.
