On no, same date as South Shore float fly. Now I have to choose. Same problem on Aug 18, three fun flys on the that day. I was hoping this year there would not be any overlaps so I could do them all.

Bruce, I believe it's referred to as a "lack of coordination"...seems to happen each year. It would be nice if we could at least solve it WITHIN the province.
It might require input from the Zone Director to have each Club's event dates submitted by year end, for the following year.

Agreed, I know weather sometimes causes a event to be rescheduled, like the slope fly was last year, but the clubs really need to organize events without overlaps.

I think that summer is just too short and all clubs are trying to fit in their fun flys!!! 8-)

It can be challenging to coordinate events even with the (maybe) 8 or so “local” clubs in the immediate vicinity of metro, given the short season.

:-)
