New Member - Field Training

Unread post by Jeremy » Fri Apr 19, 2013 12:40 pm

Greetings!

I'm a new member to both MAAC and HEFA, and I've never flown at any rc field with a club. I was hoping a trainer would be on hand this saturday or sunday to give me the rundown on etiquette and responsibilities for flying at Shannon Park. Do we have someone scheduled to be there on either day? I don't need any dedicated flying instruction as I've been playing with simulators and my Micro Trojan for quite some time. I seem to recall there being some kind of wings test for new members, but I'm hazy on the details.

Saturday doesn't look very good (wind, rain), but Sunday looks promising. I'll be there Sunday, probably between 8:00 and 8:30. Follow @RCFlyingNS on Twitter to get notification.
