Last week I believe I heard of three occasions at JFK airport in NY city where landing pilots saw "drones" as close as 100 feet above or below them while landing. Then I heard a comment from someone on the same newscast that there was a very simple cure for this and it was software related.

Today, we got to see this "cure" when John L. went to turn on his DJI Aspire multicopter at Shearwater airfield. It simply refused to arm itself, because IT KNEW IT'S LOCATION..! The message to John was simply...."No..NADA..not 'till you remove me from this No Fly Zone"..!

Now probably some hacker will try to override this manufacturer's attempt to prevent idiots from bringing on a disaster, but it sure is nice to see that the industry is taking measures to keep safety at the forefront.
