In the above thread from RCGroups, there is some talk about a crashed Splendor being caused by the DX9 radio "rebooting" in mid flight. Don't know how factual and accurate this info is except that Horizon apparently replaced the model and also the radio I believe.
Something to keep an eye on, if your using this radio or if you have had any mysterious crashes while using a DX9.
