Spektrum's latest radio..the DX8

Unread post by retiredVTT » Thu Jun 10, 2010 4:53 pm

For the last few months, Spektrum have been teasing us with ads indicating "it's coming, what if becomes what is"...so it was with great interest that I read this month's back cover of Fly RC mag (August 2010) and gleaned this info, about the new DX8 system.

8 channels,
30 model memory onboard, with additional memory via SD card
2 model types..Aero and Heli
2.4 ghz DSM Spread Spectrum TELEMETRY System

..more info here,

and here's a thread on RCG, started way back in February...!

I've been thinking about getting one of these when they become available. I believe the official announcement is in two weeks. Hopefully it won't be too long after that before they start shipping.

Billy,

Are you going to the other side now on 2.4 ?

I believe there are only 2 of us left then at that point....myself and J.O.

I knew someday I would be unique.... :D

72 is still valid, reliable and cheap. Pick 2.

And with everyone on 2.4 it makes it even better. No conflict!!
