https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0g0nxD2WAU#t=1298 (unboxing)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQCYk_5PjUo (flight demo)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAFjH00 ... MDAxMjAxNg (beach flying with FPV, float flying, aero towing, and assembling)

It had to happen ...the FUNCUB sells so well, there is now a Durafly copy (the TUNDRA) ...complete with floats, big tundra wheels, and a candy drop option..!

yep, very interesting looking plane, especially at that price even if it is US funds.

Hard to beat the fun cub though! From the photos, looks like the fun cub has a longer wing. Not sure about the wing loading on both.

There is a new large fun cub on the horizon, similar in size to the eflite large cub I'm told. I'll get to try that one when my son becomes the first one to have it locally. LOL

FUNCUB XL does sound interesting....... 68" wing, 6 lbs, 6S power..! http://www.multiplex-rc.de/en/products/ ... ub-xl.html
..about $350.00 Can., taxes in, is my estimate for the model, about $740. Can. for the RR model, plus $101. Can. for the floats ...that 45% dollar sure makes a difference..!

thanks for the video bill. Hadn't seen it until your link.

Expensive plane, but then the original fun cub is pricey as well when you add in some decent components. Good thing Jon doesn't worry about that, Lol, he has been talking about it for a while and I think has it pre-ordered from Geoff.

And that video is about how he'll handle it on his maiden flight. lol

Here's his maiden of the big eflite carbon cub. Note the immediate roll on takeoff. Who needs trim? haha

After a couple of trips to the field, I'll get to make some sedate circuits and some fun touch and goes with it. Looking forward to that.
