Has anyone ordered from this, apparently US based RC Hobby Store?

Thier prices seem to be quite good (i.e. 3S1P 1000mah 20C battery for approx $7, 9g metal gear servos $8). Can't tell though how they ship (USPS, UPS etc) or cost as this could be high as I know that if shipped though UPS which uses a broker adds about $30 to the shipping cost.

I assumed they were another HongKong outfit but appears that headquarters is in California. The link says that shipping is done via Fedex, UPS, and Postal. So if you specified postal you should stay clear of brokerage.

I guess the next step would be to consult the RCGroups forums to see what's said there...and then to try them on a smaller purchase.

They might be associated with "Nitro Planes" ....thought I read that somewhere, someplace, sometime..!

there have been a lot of positive comments about hobbypartz on rccanada.

as bill says, avoid any courier shipping or you will get hit with every tax ever dreamed up and brokerage fees to boot. those courier companies must own their own brokerage firms!
