It's a rare week that passes that there isn't a new battery technology that is going to change the world.

Yesterday I read one on cotton based batteries.

When I can buy one I will believe it until then I'm sceptical. Don't get me wrong, I'd love this one to come true but it seems to the a elusive mythical thing so far.

Mark, I believe we both are referring to the same battery, as the Dual Carbon Battery also has to do with cotton.

Time will tell, they are supposed to be near production on this, and the car people at Tesla are putting some production on hold until the battery is produced.

Gotta have faith..!

Maybe one should search out the patent, to see how it reads.

Ah ok didn't realize this was also the cotton one as well. Fingers crossed it works and they get it to production.

mankind really needs good batteries for electric cars. i've been reading about liquid batteries that can be refilled in perhaps a couple minutes "gas pump" style, thereby satisfying the petrol-addicted public
