Hi Bill,

this is really cool...

However, it seems to me to be complete bullshit....lol

I have been in touch tonight with friends in the direct path of the"hurricane" and they are telling me it is a mild tropical storm.

So, what do we gleen from this?

1. the media overblow EVERYTHING
why? to sell newspapwers
2. the internet news isnt any better
why? to sell contacts

look at the facts poeple, this is a cat 1 (barely) storm.....nothing!

Whan was a cat 3!

And whan was not much!

Don't be afraid! thats what they want you to be!

Yeah...I guess it was a slow night for TV...I mean it's not like there is severe flooding in the streets, or water in the subway, or tower cranes dangling, or facades fallings off buildings, or people being killed by falling tree limbs...nah..it's all over-blown.

Amazing how things change between 6:20 pm and 10:30 Monday and then the Tuesday morning view.

No Stock Exchange, no subways maybe for days and then how many weeks will the salt water cause glitches, Power out for x millions and it is still snowing and blowing inland.

Juan was bad as well. At least it appears their Power Utilities put in place plans and equipment. They will still be overwhelmed for days.

As one Emergency responder said, " Initially your help and rescue will come from your neighbours, not the public services, they will be stuck by roads flooded, lines down, trees blocking the rescue routes."

So can we get a pool going here?

Stock exchange by what day, subways by what day, airports by what day? Takers anyone?
