Awesome!!! Can't wait (even if it is nearly all CGI - it looks pretty good).

Re: RED TAILS - Movie Trailer (video)
Well, after much anticipation, I saw the movie on Friday night.
Although the flying scenes and the CGI graphics were absolutely stunning, I have to say that at the end of the movie, I came out rather dissappointed. Much like nearly every other Hollywood war movie that has come out in the past 30 years (Saving Private Ryan and the like aside), it suffered from the same old boring cliches, stereotypes and and twisting of the already amazing truth in order to spin the same mundane sensationalization that is typical of American film. There have been some happy exceptions to this rule in the past, but this was not one of them.
Much like "Pearl Harbour", it has a cliche love story that takes too much time away from telling the story that needs to be told. And, of course, they go overboard on the good guy/villain theme. As well, I just wish movie makers would take a little more effort to get the tactical details right, instead of inventing stuff that they think the typical neaderthal movie-goer wants to see.
Too bad really, it could have been so much better, I think.

Yeah, that's the second bad review that I've heard....first was from my son who sees every new movie that comes along..! Of course I was hoping that he was just being too critical..but I guess not..!
I'll wait and catch it on the 46" screen..!

Re: RED TAILS - Movie Trailer (video)
that's a pity, "The Tuskegee Airmen" was made for tv on HBO, and was well liked. actually i've seen a lot of good recent war movies, but they're mostly on the ground or at sea and not about air combat, not sure why. i have noticed that almost all great war movies are actually anti-war movies because they portray the real impact instead of glorifying events. speaking of which, i just reserved the first 2 out of 3 volumes of "Baa Baa Black Sheep" (black sheep squadron) at the library.... volume 3 (season 2) not available...
"War Horse" was good... a bit of an old fashioned throwback of movie style.
