Need to add the decals still. I laid a coat of gloss wpu where the decals will be, then need to seel them.

That's great Marc... now Andrew S has an enemy to engage. Now, if only someone would purchase a Japanese plane to square-off with my P-40 (25 1/2 inch wing span - should be here soon) or HellCat (39 inch wing span) SpitFire (48 inch wing span). Anyone???

Great news, Marc. Now be sure to take it easy on the little Spitfire (I'm still learning)... Go for the big guy from Australia...more of a fair match up. 
GH special orders from Hobby Lobby seem to take an awfully long time to arrive.

It's ready for sunday morning. Hope wind is down. I added some yellow panels. more in line with the Russian front. I didn't have any satin so used gloss for the final coat. little shiny but it sealed the decals and I like it.

She flies
It is fast with the welgard. flies good at 1/2 throttle. Used full only for virtical climbs. I am getting 12-13 minutes before I land and there is still power left. Have to watch it in dark clouds though. Too easy to loose orientaion.
