B24 Liberator

Unread post by yorcram » Sun Jul 08, 2012 5:00 pm

I started on a b24 a few weeks back that I ordered from wowplanes. This is only foam with plastic parts. You need to shape the fuse belly and nose to the proper contour. Last night I hinged the tail surfaces. I used wpu and fiberglass to cover the plane. The trial fit looks good so I ordered the retracts Friday. Hope to have this done by mid August.

Nice project Marc. Should be a nice flyer and lots of options for the build

You must be another one of those guys that have a two-car garage with no car inside ;-)

This is done. Wanted retracts but the wing is too thin to take them. It is now a belly lnader
