Hellcat ordered!

Heard some good (and some bad) things about it. But, for 96.00 US (42.00 for Express Shipping) I had to give it a try!

Marc, this is the plane I told you I was waiting for... there are 9 left!!!!

Wow, the detail looks good. Think I will have to look around that site, but I can't order anything as I am stuck in Barrie Ontario until the weekend. This work thing sure gets in the way sometimes 8-)

Barrie... I spent many a drunken weekend in Barrie, back in my early days (17) when I was at camp Borden for military training. Yes, I know, 17 is too young to be drunk in Barrie (or anywhere). But, that was a different time. The thinking was, if you were old enough to fight for your country than you were old enough to drink. Actually, the drinking age back then was 21... bartenders turned a blind eye to men (boys) in uniform. Besides, I was 6' 2" - 205 lbs. back then and looked 25 at least!

Anyway, back to the topic. This plane, as it is setup, might be a bit tame for you Marc. It is described as "underpowered" by some. Take mine for a test flight when it comes in (5-6 days), and then decide for yourself. I am "sort of" counting on it being a little slow myself! :)

:lol: As I mentioned in another post Jack, we will have to start a Warbird Wing within HEFA... HEFA-WBW! Need a few more "enemy" warbirds though. And I will need a lot more stick time!!! :oops:
