Would it enhance reliability to run a Y connector to join the two batteries in parallel and then split the output to each of the ESCs?

Then the batteries would drain closer together and the motors would slow down in approximate sync.

I thougth if that and have the harnes made for it. However, since some batts are not holding their charge, I am concerned about one dying and then being pushed too far and venting during flight.
I am going to get new batts and use them in pairs as I have done on some other twins. When one gets clsoe to LVC the yaw is still mild and I know it is time to glide in. I normally have my timer set to land a minute before that happens.
