Breeze Pro

Unread post by steve » Tue Mar 09, 2010 7:46 pm

A new build

AUW (so far) -3.5 oz
Motor - E-Flite park 250
ESC - Electrifly SS-8
Servos - Futaba 3114
Reciever - Berg Microstamp
Battery - 2 cell lipo, no name, 350ma
Prop - GWS 7x3.5 to start-------8x4

- built with foam safe ca and a bit of epoxy for the stiffeners
- Cheap packaging for shipping resulted in many dents, creases, dings, and 2 cracks. All were repaired
- Feels very fragile
- Working on setting up the "pull pull" for the elevator and rudder
- Lightest plane I have ever built or flown........I already said goodbye to her :)
- Added extra cf stiffener to the elevator
- CG is as per instructions and lateral balance only required 3 dots of CA
- Motor mount taped on.......feels very secure
- Hopefully will able to test her at the next indoor
- Should have ensured the gear struts located directly on top of the leading edge stiffener. Hopefully they wont poke through the wing on a landing
- Approx 2.5-3.0 hrs build time to this stage. Expect Destruction time significantly less....

Bill,

I tried to post this about 6 or 7 times.

It took a nap when I tried to upload pictures. I believe I have repaired the issue on my end as it now displays photos

She's a beaut, Steve. She is a beaut!

Angel on Murray's left shoulder, in a soft, soothing and gentle voice... "Murray, you don't need yet another flying plane. Now go play nicely with the ones that you already have and be good."

Devil on Murray's right shoulder, in a low, heavy voice... "psst.. Murrraaay.... Who's the Enforcer? huh? huh? Is it you or is it Steve? Is your name Murray, or is it... Marie? No! You aren't Marie! YOU ARE MURRAY, THE ENFORCER!!!! Now, go get that plane!"
