That's great news Tom, and I hope a few other HEFA members (or others) will also make the scene in Kentville.
For those making the first trip, take exit 14 from hwy 101 and turn right and come back roughly 5 kms and you'll see the large metal roofed building on your LEFT ...."Valley Indoor Soccer".
Should be a good turnout..!
cheers,
Bill

Would like to go but I have to work. If it is slow I may be able to but in any event, have a great time and take some photos.

Wishing that I could join the gang in Kentville.... off to watch a curling game for the provincial title....
As Chris H has pointed out, tomorrow morning looks like light winds - maybe we'll be able to get a few people out to SP for the morning?

Lots of flyers there today. Adam and I flew his Sport Cub S2 and I tried to fly a new build but I think it's more suited for outside. Lots of fun anyway.

I never crash, I just create exciting ways to meet the ground. After all, take-offs are desirable, landings are inevitable.

Re: Indoor at Kentville - 2016/2017
I was told after the event today that attendance was 22...so the total for the past two "Holiday Events" was 39 flyers..!
Excellent time, lots of "Twisted Hobby" brand planes, and I actually got a reasonable flight in with my Mini Katana, all 14 ounces of it. It made a big difference to patch the two inch square hole in the bottom of the left wing covering that I had forgot to do prior to last weeks attempt to fly it. It still will be kept for outdoor flying only, but it was nice to get it maidened successfully.
Topped off the day with a monstrous omelette at the Big Stop restaurant in New Minas before motoring home.
Now to start the building of two new TH models, one that landed under the tree, and one that was ordered yesterday.
...hoping for more indoor fun in January..!
