and indeed i observed some "skate-along" lift - (similar to slope soaring) -
"It was a steep learning curve while trimming. Too much fun! I throttled back and got it flying really smoothly right in front of me, and I could feel the prop wash on my face. In fact, the plane got lift off the front of my body, as in a walk-along glider, and I had to throttle back to keep it from climbing. "
