Chris, AndrewS, and Vic will be participating in a indoor flying demo Sunday 7/31/11 at the rink in the Eastern Shore Community Center in Musquodoboit Harbour from 1pm to 3pm. This will be part of the Lions Summer Fair festivities.
The rink will have booths around the perimiter so flying will be contained to the middle.
There is room for two or three others to participate.
If Gary F is available with a tricopter...and Karl with one of his EPP flyers that would be great.
This came up this week from the organizer of the Fair, so we had little notice.
We are keeping the planes to those that can be kept in close. A small heli would be ok.

DIRECTIONS TO THE RINK....
Chris:
When you get to the end of the 107, turn right.Go through the village, turn left onto Hwy 357(by the RCMP station). Turn right onto Park Road. You will see the rides set up. Go in the second drive way. It will be quite congested. Come in the big side doors of the rink. I'll be looking for you!

they have a large feild and a ball park we have some crappers there, not shure if they are being used. i would love to get some pictuers of the demo.
what do you mean low rates and expo???

ASRCM flew at that event two summers ago. we also had a good static display. Nice people.
at that time they had a small fenced off area at one end of the arena. not very big. really only suited to some of the small slower micro planes. There was no area outside on site where we could fly. Midway tents, rides, parking took up all the outside space.
It was fun though and a great chance to show our hobby.
