Source for SOCKET HEAD BOLTS

Unread post by retiredVTT » Wed Dec 16, 2009 2:32 am

Needed a 4mm diameter x 12 mm length socket head bolt today....Home Depot..none, Kent..none..!
And I mean they do not carry ANY socket head bolts..! Jeez!

Fastenall will sell me a box of 100 for $9.80 + tax.

However Trans-World Distributing Ltd, 9 Waddell Ave, off Windmill Road before you turn to go into Shannon Park...have what I need and sell them individually...so I'll get them there.
Praise Be..!

Bill, Canadian Tire used to have a decent hardware section, with a variety of metric machine head screws and bolts. But they could be gone by now, its been awhile since I was looking there. ;)

Yeah Jack, I know the CTC Bedford store got rid of the sliding rack of small bolts, etc, they had last year....maybe the larger stores still have something.
It gets depressing when they dump the items that are slow movers.
Another item in limited supply around here are "standoffs" in various lengths for moving the motors ahead of the firewall.

As of a month ago the Canadian Tire in Clayton Park still had their sliding rack of bolts, etc...

I went to B.B.S. today and they had a whole bunch of L.B.D. in stock. I could not believe the price, the equivalent of 50 YEN each.
