(my own experience involves using a clear sheet product from AVERY #08665, and printing them on the Inkjet printer..then applying a coat or two of Krylon clear gloss..)

Thanks for the link to making decals -- I'm repainting my Trojan to match a picture I've fallen in love with and making my own decals is gonna make it ten times better. It's not that the T-28 doesn't look pretty good out of the box -- but I am kind of obsessed with doing this sort of thing with my model planes over the years!! Gives me something to do on rainy days like tomorrow!
Just wanted to let people know that I found a really good USAF / NAVY True Type Font and have it if anyone wants me to email it to them -- I'm sure you guys probably have it - but it absolutely ROCKS for making those little "NO STEP" and other nomenclature details -- also it prints really well....so with that font and a clear decal sheet -- there's no limit to custom Navy or Air Force lettering!
Let me know if anyone wants the font package!

The font is called Amarillo AF :
I have the font package that can be emailed...
I'll have to email the font or somehow post a link to it to download -- but I can't find where I got it from -- it's been called "elusive" on the RC forums too -- I'll see if I can make a link to our music website so that one can download it...
