G'day Y'all
Well I recently received My very first PLANE, Yes it's used But it's mine. I was quite disappointed when I received the plane since it was advertised in EXCELLENT condition and it was far from it.
I am trying to figure out the best way to repair the ailerons. As the picture depicts they are not cracked all the way through thus wondering if I should attempt a repair. If I do repair it what be the best method.
looking forward to your replies

Foam safe ca would take care of that break. However, due to the location you will have to be extremely careful not to get glue into the hinge line. I would use medium foam safe there as thin would probably weep into the hinge line. go slow!!

I think i would use hinge tape on this...maybe both CA and the tape?

Good idea Brian. hinge tape after gluing that break would be the perfect solution.

Is this the kind of wing where the foam is not quite broken through and acts as the hinge itself? Which plane is it?
Another option might be to repair the crack, cut the aileron loose and then use CA (floppy disk) or Dubro plastic hinges to reattach.
