Servo tester "invaluable"

Unread post by retiredVTT » Mon Mar 14, 2011 9:51 pm

Just got through adding servos to another indoor project and I gotta say how much this little item helps out.

It's a "servo tester" from HK and at $5.99 I don't know how they produce them for that.

You want to have your servos adjusted properly before installation of the control rods and this little guy permits that without the hassle of getting a transmitter out and hooking up a receiver...!

No, just plug the servo in one end, plug an esc into the other end, and hook up a battery to the esc...and your good to go.
The tester has a three position switch....manual, dead center, and auto. The auto position cycles the servo continuously. The dead center allows you to position the control horn right where you generally want it; and manual allows you to turn a knob and manually operate the servo.

Great little device....mine gets used a lot.
