The MAAC safety requirements should be very well known to any member of MAAC and certainly to any members of HEFA. There truly is nothing more important than safety as our solid safety history is what allows us continued use of these facilities. You will also know that the back of every MAAC card requires the pilot to acknowledge adherence to the MAAC safety code - and that this is a condition of MAAC coverage. Again, there should be no surprises.
Now - that said - there are a few locations for good information.
(1) Page 2 of our membership application - intended to be reviewed and completed annually - has a summary of some of the rules for HEFA and for MAAC. Typically these are aligned but in some cases there could be higher restrictions with HEFA. It is important to note that this is not all-inclusive and can be superseded by MAAC or by HEFA. (2) MAAC safety codes. As MAAC members, we are required to review and to follow each of these rules. There are a lot of them located here:
