Re: 2016 Shearwater Hobby Show
Here is an update regarding the April 9th & 10th Hobby Show.
The positive news is that the venue is much larger than I had earier stated, so that five or six tables is possible for HEFA members. Also, this year food service will be available which is another positive.
On the negative side, we need at least four or five additional members to share the time slots and man the tables for a couple hours each. At present we have had seven members come forth, however four of these are sharing their time between the two RC clubs or the Simulator Club.
So unless we can get additional support from HEFA members, over the next week, we may have to reconsider our participation.
Please indicate here if you can help out, and state what time period you can man a table. (morning or afternoon)
thanks,
Bill

That would be great Steve, how about Saturday, April 9th, from say 9am to noon or 1pm. That would help out big time..!

If you want to use the "real flight sim" and projector and screen I can make them available as well. also I can do a time slot as well.

It is encouraging to see all these indications of willingness to participate in one way or another. Thanks to all. FYI, Marc (coyote on the SRCF Forum) has a spreadsheet set up to help co-ordinate who is doing what and when, to avoid under or overmanning at any point. Suggest reaching out to him with your intentions. Thanks.

Re: 2016 Shearwater Hobby Show
Ron,
I'm new to the club this year and don't know the routine. I tried to locate the SRCF Forum and ended up with a club in Kingsville, Ontario. I indicated in my earlier post on this forum that I am available for any time slot during the show but don't know who to tell.
Are any display models required? I am building an electric "Eagle 2" model. I have built the components but it is not yet covered. Would that be worth displaying?
Willing to help.
Mike
