Shannon Park School Spring Fair - Saturday June 9, 2015

Unread post by Entropist » Wed Jun 03, 2015 9:45 pm

I was told that there will be bouncy castles etc in the school yard and lots of parents and children out on Saturday for the Spring Fair at Shannon Park School. A dose of extra care may be in order.

Good call. According to their website, this is taking place 12-2. Currently, Saturday looks like rain... but the forecast can certainly change!

I wonder where they will be setting up?

At the first signs of setup, I would suggest we not fly on Saturday. The early morning should be ok until maybe 10 or 11 am.

Shearwater is an alternative, as well as the Lawrencetown Slope if the wind is suitable. PLF is a third option.

Our safety record is too good to jeopardize an incident.

The Fair will likely set up in the corner East of the school, nearest Windmill Road.

Thanks John, for the heads up.

Sorry about the date mixup, should read June 6th. I wasn't aware of the time. As I recall the bouncy castle was in the corner of the L of the school in the NE, probably to avoid the wind, and they may need power. I don't think I'll make it out due to other commitments, unfortunately the last forecast is for a half inch of rain in the morning. :|
