Ken Liddard
It is with a heavy heart that I have to say that our fellow aeromodeller and my friend Ken passed away at around 5pm today after battling cancer with a vengeance for the past 3 years. To the end he wanted to build the next airplane and I believe that the very last one needed no wings.

This is truly unfortunate. His passion for the hobby stands-out amongst all that I have encountered. A true love for the hobby and seemingly all facets that it has to offer.
John - our thoughts are with you during this most difficult time.

Rest in Peace Ken, your presence at the field will be missed.
I'm sure now and then we will be saying "thanks Ken", as one of our models mysteriously recovers from a near wipe out!

Re: Ken Liddard
So sad and sincere condolences to John and family.
Ken's positive attitude to model flying has been an inspiration to all model flyers. He knew that he did not have too much time left but attacked this hobby with the enthusiasm of a beginner.
I bought a Hexacopter from him a couple of years ago and every flight is a tribute to Ken.
KEN, we all miss you and your positive outlook on life in the face of adversity.
