HEFA Website Comments
I have had Shawn try a few mods to the website over the last week or so and have decided to put the front page back up, and to change the bland and boring (my words) "About Us" to the lively flyer produced by AndrewS.
This flyer lets visitors to the site know more about our activities if they wish to get involved in the hobby. Also those of us that are on the site daily can access the forums without going through the flyer repeatedly.
Best of both worlds..!
If you have a request for an addition to the website, post it here and it will be addressed.

A Website moment....!
This being post # 2000, as we slip past our 10 month Anniversary, I just wanted to throw out another "Thank You" to Shawn, our website creator and Chief Moderator.
This site has served a very usefull purpose in bringing electric flyers together for the common good, and we appreciate the hours Shawn spent in setting it up..!

Re: HEFA Website adjustments..
Another website moment today....post #2500..!!!
On Sept 27th, '09, at 5.23pm (or so) the site will celebrate it's FIRST ANNIVERSARY....!
In case we are all out flying on that Sunday afternoon, I'll take this moment to once again say "Thanks" to Chief Moderator, Shawn, for setting up and maintaining our website.
We have 49 registered members and who knows how many drop in visitors

Hey gang,
I've noticed that our HEFA site seems quite slow at times, over the last few days. Has anyone else noticed this? I hope that we aren't in for a hard drive crash or something.

Would not matter a fiddler's fart to me - I'm a slow reader anyway.
Keep up the good work!

Now that the time has reverted back to "Standard" from "Daylight Saving" you may find that, although your pc has the correct time,...when you post on the HEFA website the post time is an hour ahead.
Go to "User Control Panel" ...upper left
..then click on "Board Preferences"..
..look for "Summer Time is in effect", and click "No"
..your post time will now be correct...!
(thanks Shawn..!)

Re: HEFA Website adjustments..
I am getting a "ATTACHMENT QUOTA HAS BEEN MET" message when I attempt to load a picture...so I've sent an email to Shawn to see if he has a fix for this. I believe it's a matter of raising our quota, which obviously involves more storage. I'll report back when I hear from him.
