MAAC online account makes Renewals easy..

Your HEFA Directors would like to try something different this year with respect to the HEFA Members renewing their MAAC. In reviewing the Clubs financial statements it was seen that during 2015 the Treasurer collected and relayed to MAAC about $1000.00

We are suggesting for 2016 that members go to this MAAC site https://secure.maac.ca/members/en/join.php and open their own account so that MAAC dues can then be paid via credit card to MAAC. Also within the next few months MAAC is going to start receiving dues by using a Paypal account.

New members coming to HEFA can pay their MAAC to our Treasurer as before, since this gives them immediate coverage at the field. If we can get the rest of the membership to look after their MAAC themselves it will remove some of the annual paperwork from the Treasurer.

Once the account with MAAC is open, the renewal takes about four minutes and a receipt can be printed right away.

I just renewed my MAAC for 2016 .....took two minutes and 47 seconds, plus another 18 seconds for the receipt to be printed. Sure is fast when you have an account set up and you have not forgotten your password..!
