MAAC RENEWAL CHECK-UP

It has come to the Director's attention that some "members" have not renewed their MAAC ....but they are flying...!

With our current membership list this is very easy to check by using the MAAC website.

If your guilty of this...please either stop flying at HEFA fields or renew your MAAC. It's that simple.

Hey Guys,

We are six weeks into 2014, and a check of the membership list reveals that fifteen of you have not renewed your MAAC for 2014.
I know some of you are winter flying and it's probably just an oversight, so please either stop flying at HEFA fields or renew your MAAC.

I signed Andrew up for Junior MAAC tonight....I will advise his number.
I will bring HEFA application this Saturday night for him.

Yes, of those 15 names referred to above, 12 renewed and the remaining three did not return this year.

I know it's early in 2015....but a check reveals that 13 or more members have not renewed your MAAC yet, including a few Directors.

So this is just a friendly reminded, as there might be some ice flying soon.

LATER EDIT on Jan 15th....My apologies if I offended any one (glad I did not use any names!) I contacted the MAAC office today with a couple names that showed to be "not active" and was advised that due to the holidays, some records were not updated as yet, and in fact these memberships were "active". I learned a lesson; wait until Feb 1st, before bitchin..!
