I think we all owe Cato congratulations on having put out a full year of highly relevant modelling promotion of our Atlantic Zone.
This sort of stuff is a thankless and time consuming effort and he has done a great job of presenting the positive side of model flying for which he should feel proud.

the June edition of the MAAC newsletter is now available. Local items this month include an update on the combat models being built by HEFA members under the guidance of vic and steve.

cannot upload the .pdf file here as it is too large, but you can view it at

Bill, if you wish, you can modify my post to host it here,

Since last December, when we had a change of secretarys within HEFA, the monthly MAAC Newsletter has been sent directly to the member via email, rather than being posted here. We could also post a link here to each N/L if desired, however no one has requested that as yet.

hi guys, as a reminder, all MAAC Atlantic Zone NEWSLETTERS are available on the MAAc website, both current and back issues -
http://www.maac.ca/zones/maac_zone.php?zn=2

new issues are published once a month.

i don't receive any notification of new issues, so i have gone back to read all the ones i missed last year, and now keep current by checking back each month.

the April issue includes the Porters Lake Winter Funfly and the Valley Gathering.
enjoy!

I've said it before and will do so again.
The monthly Zone B newsletter is second to none. Cato always seems to dredge out the most interesting events and promptly provide an important record of activities in Atlantic Canada,
Congrats to those reporting on the various winter events. Although it has been one of the hardest winters in many years, it is refreshing to see all the active flying, both indoors and outdoors, which is going on.
