Long Weekend - February 18, 2019

Unread post by bdg » Sun Feb 17, 2019 8:03 pm

Winds are looking very light for tomorrow but temperatures will be cool. As a result of the long weekend, there is no school for the kids. Several members will be at SP tomorrow morning. I understand that there is no snow on the field... so wheels will be appropriate but certainly the ground will be unforgiving!

Hope to see you there!

No one was there this morning so I only flew a couple flights before it got too cold and windy. Have to work tomorrow, oh well. Warmer days are coming.

I never crash, I just create exciting ways to meet the ground. After all, take-offs are desirable, landings are inevitable.

Well... temperatures were a little cooler than expected but winds were very low... so overall not a bad morning. Upwards of 7 or 8 people at SP near 10am.

Nice to see Derrick at the field and to buddy box with his Super Cub and to get him out of "safe" mode. He was doing great - but was certainly impacted by the COLD. Lots of shivers!

Come on summer!!!
