Weekend - June 3/4

Unread post by bdg » Sat Jun 03, 2017 2:06 pm

What a morning!!!! Light winds. Started with blue sky but changed to grey with showers threatening to chase us away. Well, by 11am or so there was a significant shower and we left.... but then it changed to nice again...!

Nice to see Bill maiden his FlightTest plane; some great flights by others too: Bob, Louis, Gary, Andrew, John, Chris, Mike, Bruce, Adam, Bill.... lots of activity!!! Nice to see Wayne and Logan back at SP as well.

I have a short video for one of Bill's flights that I will post soon ... if it is clear enough!

Tomorrow is looking great thus far....! See you then!

Well... another great morning. Definitely cooler and windier than yesterday but very very flyable. Nice to see the regulars out.... and especially now that the weather is warmer we should see others returning.

Fingers crossed for good weather next weekend too!

Here is a video of Bill's vertical take-off of the FliteTest Bloody Wonder.

I believe that Bill purchased this from Great Hobbies but I am not seeing this on their site. The original link is at https://store.flitetest.com/bloody-wond ... build-kit/

Looks like a great flyer! Lots of wing surface!!!!! I am looking forward to seeing this fly again.
