Re: SP Weather - GO / NO GO
Hi Rick,
Very interesting charts and information. I was down at SP late this afternoon to fly a few packs. It was mild with little to no wind and made for nice flying conditions, though the flying field itself was a bit soggy.

I guess your experience yesterday Jeff agrees with the chart I posted.
I found a new home for the graphing software and fired it up again around noon today. I made it span 3 hours this time which I think shows the trend better.
Definitely not a good flying day today!

Many thanks Rick for posting that link. It works very well and will give us up-to date conditions at Shannon.

Unfortunately the collection software crashes once in a while because the connection to the plotting service times out. I'm trying to figure out how to restart it automatically and not lose the data.

Not one to give up on something that I think is valuable, I'm trying a completely new approach to this using IoT (Internet of Things) technology
This should be more reliable but most likely not perfect yet:

Let me know if it is working for you, or not!

Re: SP Weather - GO / NO GO
Of course right after posting my message last night, my Internet connection went down for most of the night (which is pretty rare). But it was back on line first thing this morning so there still was some data.
Thanks for your comment Tom. Hopefully I can keep it running this time!

Thanks Rick. Works well for me.
However unlike the other one gives wind speed only and not direction or temperature.
Very useful.
