Thanks, Marc. No, not Adobe... I used an old version of Microsoft Picture It. Hopefully, we'll have some good flying weather after the storm.

Ok..Sunday morning services will resume at 0800...followed by the breaking of bread and the sipping of java at the local Timothy O'Horton establishment....provided they have a positive electron flow..!

Dangit, heard that I missed a group at the Lawrencetown slope today.
It was howling by the time I got there at 4:00 pm - varying from 50-75 km/h at the brink.
One of the kite surfers I spoke with was just downsizing wings for the second time in the day.

Re: Labour Day Weekend 2010
Wow..Karl you were early, feeding time for the four legged friends.
I rolled in around 8:21am after a pit stop at the Mickey Dees drive thru...and today I got overly aggressive and lost the 60 amp Mystery esc in the E3D and maybe the motor..2820 Motrolfly. Appears the motor got dragging in the bearings and caused an increase in amp draw from the esc and puff..still had control of the surfaces so I got it down ok. Sure was wringing it out though, prior to shut down.
The little Eagle foamy is underpowered with the $12. Turnegy so next week will see the small Scorpion motor installed upping the watts from 75 to 130.
Twenty flyers today...the highlight was watching young 10 year old Cody progress at a fast pace under the tutalage of Rick with the Hobbyzone Cub. They both were even color coordinated with identical green shirts on....as Andrew said.."Rick, did you call him to say, 'we are wearing green today'..?"
A lot of flying today between 7 am and 1pm ...and we took a break around noon to scour the ground for Jack's Apple phone which he lost earlier. Young Cody whips out his cellphone, calls Jack's number, and lo and behold Jack finds his phone when it starts ringing. It had a very interesting ring...for anyone who has watched the Red Bull races on Discovery Channel...when the planes are being penalized for bending the rules there is a loud alarm that goes off...yup, that's what Jack's phone ring sounds like..!
There might be more night flying now that school is back in...so we might see y'all through the week..!

What is lost is found
thanks to everyone find my blankedy blank iPhone
and a special thanks to the young fella who persisted in
dialing the number, till I finally heard the blasted thing.
Thanks to everyone again.
