Another fantastic weekend with good turn-outs from our members.

Saturday - started off with light winds and fairly warm for the time of the year. ~10 people at the field. Winds increased to quite high by 11am and models started to "take off" from the pits.... signalling the end of the flying day.

Sunday - light winds and temperatures in around 17°C. Nice sky and good turnout. Lots of flights too! Captured some video of Bill's Viggen - what a speed envelope from barely moving to very fast! A Youtube video is here: https://youtu.be/AacXTg3ykCw. A combination of some video take-off, still images, and then the SHORT landing. Way to go!

I should have also mentioned that the MAAC Zone Meeting took place on Saturday in Truro. I am not aware of the participation levels - everyone is busy and might not want to do the trek - but I am understanding that Regis has bowed-out from his role as ZD and that Cato Hansen (Saint John, NB) has shifted from assistant ZD to ZD, New to the executive is Jon Eastman of ASRCM who will pick-up the reins as assistant ZD (this is GREAT!).

Thanks Brian, for the Viggen video and pics; I'm going to send a link down to the Flite-Test crew.
