SOLD**** CORSAIR (H9 50 size) built but never flown...

Unread post by retiredVTT » Tue Aug 29, 2017 11:06 pm

For sale - A brand new (five year old hangar queen) Hangar9 50 size Electric powered CORSAIR with the correct Eflite electric retracts. Powered by a Scorpion 4020-10 motor (630Kv), a Turnigy 85 amp esc, turning a 13/6 three blade prop. I believe a 4S lipo would fly this, however my choice was to be a 5S pack, producing 1200 watts in a 7 lb model.
Servos are new, Hitec HS225's in the wing and Spektrums for the elevator and rudder. No flaps on this model as it did not require them.

A partial build video at this link: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3440&hilit=corsair
Model has not flown as yet.

Price is $400.00 firm, as my interest has been diverted elsewhere...!
EDITED on November 11th ...Reduced to $375.00 (see post below)

Trevor...this is a teaser just for you: this video was taken THREE years ago at the Shearwater Museum Hobby Show in 2014.
This is as close that it has got to being airborne..!

I'd like to move this Corsair...only because I'm just not into flying "warbirds", like watching them fly though, maybe the thought of breaking this one is just too much!

Anyway, I'm reducing the price on this unflown bird to $375.00;

..here are some recent photos as I performed some maintenance cleanup..!
