HELP - 22 or 26 gauge wire
Looking for 26 /22 gauge wire. My normal source for such hobby materials (Princess Auto) does not or carry any.
Any ideas? I'm trying to wire an aircraft for lights.
Thanks

How much did you need? I "might" have a meter or two silicone wire from HobbyKing in my supply of parts. Let me know and I can try and take a look.

I appreciate the offer Mark, I've also got some inbound from HK but was wondering if there was a local source.MarkL wrote:How much did you need? I "might" have a meter or two silicone wire from HobbyKing in my supply of parts. Let me know and I can try and take a look.
For those of you who have not yet checked out Princess Auto on Wright Ave, do yourself a favour and check it out

Re: HELP - 22 or 26 gauge wire
i used 30 gauge enameled copper wire for lights on the weekend at kentville - worked fine, very light, much lighter than normal insulated wires

I usually cut up old parallel and serial cables for the wire inside. Gauge varies but its usually smaller than 24AWG.

Re: HELP - 22 or 26 gauge wire
Thanks all
What worked was the wires inside telephone cords and the telephone cords were easy to pull through once uncurled
PS: if you have not dropped in on Princess Auto, do yourself a favour. In meantime I'll have to drop in on Jentronics.
