"IMP" ..an Indoor Foam Flyer
I was taken back by the IMP at first sight at the last Indoor event, so I went online to RCGroups, downloaded the plan, had it printed and glued it to bristleboard to make templates of the half dozen pieces.
Flying weight is around 5 ounces with a small 2S pack. Wingspan is around 26 inches.
This could be built from Depron or DollarStore Foam, however EPP is recommended due to being more crash worthy. Notice how the prop is protected by being located "within" the airframe. (..did I mention that it was designed for indoor COMBAT..?) No, I had better not mention that..

No...but here are some progress pictures.. because the bottom half of the fuselage is now attached.
Next will be the motor installation, followed by elevons, rudder and servos..
