Ah Ha..! So what your telling me is that ..You have a set of templates..!
So if I were to trace your templates onto my white poster board...then I would have a set of templates..!
Have I got it right so far..?
I gotta get me some EPP..!

Re: PBF Indoor Flier
Who would have known....the foam chart shows two different weights of EPP and the 1.3 EPP is 75% lighter per sq foot than the same thickness Depron. The other EPP, which is the 1.9 stuff, is about 15% lighter than the Depron.

I think that the EPP will end up being just as heavy after you put enough CF bracing to make it stiff enough. I'd try to make one out of 6mm depron. In fact I just might do that. Or how about make a tiny one out of 3mm depron?

Ok Rick, that's all I needed...someone to say "go for it"...I'll try one using Depron ..might be the combat version...no HA, but don't get in it's way..!
Karl, what was the deal with the horizontal stab, that guys were adding late in the thread..? Last night I breezed through all the pictures (five at a time) but did not read the content. (Just the way I used to read comic books so long ago..!)
Was the stab benefitical..?

Couldn't tell ya about the horizontal stab. I didn't put one on mine. I believe it is intended to reduce the tendency to "tuck under" at higher speeds.

Ok..I printed the tiled pages..man, no lettering to align the pages...makes it difficult.
Should get Chris to shoot me a full copy..but I wanted to get a start on it tonight...gung ho you know..!
I'm already thinking that a set of templates made from 2mm coroplast would be a good "club asset" to have.

Re: PBF Indoor Flier
Got the tiled sheets aligned and taped...however my length is 17"...my width is 16 7/8" and the CG point is 3.75" back from LE instead of 4"
So much for printer accuracy..!
It's the Cg point that might cause me grief....but maybe on a rig like this it will not matter much.
Maybe I'll get the single sheet, accurate plan, from Mr. Pres... and take a break and go "Dancing with the Stars" tonight..!

Bill,
My Bad....
I was referring to a rudder as opposed to just the vertical stab with no rudder control.
Please disregard my original post

Re: PBF Indoor Flier
Steve, I'm a bit confused when I read your post above, referring to "rudder" Did you mean horizontal stab?
Karl's PBF has a rudder, but no horiz stab. After several month's posts in the RCG thread guys started adding the horiz stab....but I'm not sure why, as I have not read the thread through.
