Parkzone Su-26
picked mine up yesterday. changed the decals so now has a 'custom' look . I also found a thread where they were kit bashed into other planes, saw a nice looking LA5.
I found another where they are using all the internals and building warbirds. that didn't take long.
Great Hobbies has the E-flite 110mah batteries for $6.99. has anyone used these? wonder if the connectors are compatible, they look to be.
I also see that HC has their brand for $2. I need a few flight packs.

yes Marc, the eflite batteries are compatable. the hobby city ones are not getting very good reviews on the helifreak forum when used in the blade msr helicopter. they mention lower flight time and shorter life span.
eflite has new batteries on the market 150 mah versions. not sure if they're available here yet.

Thanks Al, now I have to decide on waiting for the 150mah or make do with the 110mah

Errol has some of the HC batteries and Chris says he found them to be "better" than the E-flite ones??? Why not buy a few and give them a try for yourself Marc!

Bill Grundy has a bunch of them. not sure if he's run them much yet, but you might get a review of them from him. he's using them in a parkzone vapor which doesn't put too much stress on them.
I think that's where the difference is. the MSR draws a fair bit of power as does the sukhoi. what has Chris used them in?
that's why eflite is bringing out the larger packs. their new 4-site mini won't work well with the 110 eflite packs due to their lower C rating is what they say in their promotional video for that plane.
BTW, this 4-site looks like it might be THE indoor plane. due in late november. check it on their website.
the immenent arrival of the 150 cells is probably why great hobbies has the smaller ones on sale.
all my comments are just from what I've read. haven't used the hobby city batteries yet.

Hmmm... that's not a micro! I thought we were talking about the SU-26 in this thread and 1S, 110-150 mAh batteries.
Actually, I like the ParkZone P-51 over the SU-26... I have both. Out of the box and with the same settings on the Tx, the P-51 flys with much more authority. Oops, I changed the topic again!!!

Re: Parkzone Su-26
sorry about the links but I've just arrived in Florida....jet lag.
no Bill, that's the original 4-site. they have a new micro coming out based on that model
I looked up the link this time. jet lag is fading.

sorry to keep changing the topic, but it does use the eflite batteries. the pending ones that is...

Re: Parkzone Su-26
I picked up 1 e-flite 110mah pack and have been using it for a few weeks. seems ok. MSC just got some GWS prop adapters that will fit the 1.5mm shaft so I picked it up with the gws5x4.3 prop. This is the prop that most say turns this into a real good plane.
