Su47

A friend gave me this kit. Spent saturday assembling the fuse. Twin 70mm, lots of servo extensions. Need to give a few days for the contact cement to cure before I start connecting everything up.

Nice looking jet. Let me know when you're going to fly it at Shearwater.

That was aweful to watch.

A few of us had issues today,my landing gear came off my pulse again ( I should learn to fix things better) and a couple others had issues and crashed.Lots of fliers did well though and 3 turbine jets showed up.

The SU-47 is ready for another go at Shearwater, hope to try it out there this Saturday weather gods permitting. It's all back together except for the retract doors which need new springs. Only other thing missing is the optional parachute and thrust vectoring kit (I left off the nozzles as they are the same ID as the exhaust.

Hope it still looks like this after Saturday :)

You may want to try a larger front wheel. I think what happened last time was the thrust was pushing the nose down, then when I let up, the angle of attack changed and allowed it to jump into the air. a little pitch up should avoid that on the re-maiden.
